Classic Car Fabricator
A small well established Classic Car Restoration business is looking to add a fully qualified, experienced and enthusiastic fabricator to their team of skilled vehicle restorers. You will be working as part of a small, motivated team carrying out the metalwork and fabrication aspects on our classic British sports cars, working to the highest standards. Your responsibility will be to learn and perfect the build process of our inner structures and outer bodies of the cars we produce.
Job Requirements:
Capable of working/forming/welding mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium.
Experienced in MIG, TIG Welding
Improving metalwork area, sourcing of correct machines and tools to improve productivity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the fitting of all panels to chassis’ on our body jigs. This will involve the re-working/re-forming and modifications to all outer body panels, for correct fitment to the inner structures.
Experience of Pre-70 cars essential.
The candidate must have excellent organisational skills, along with keeping their work area clean and organised and be able to plan their workload 3-4 weeks in advance.
All candidates must hold a full UK driving licence.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 4pm. Saturday overtime available when appropriate.
