Austin Healey 3000 MKII Tri-carb BT7.

Built and dispatched to Paris in July 1961.

 

Being sold on behalf of the current owner. Over 35 years, this car has been restored back to its original specification of Ivory white with red leather trim and with numerous performance upgrades.

 

A well documented car with an excellent history file confirming all expenditure with the previous owners. Structural & outer body repairs completed in 2000. Full bare metal outer body repaint in 2003. Engine rebuild & centre change gearbox installation in 2005. Tailored wet weather gear by Don Trimmings in 2007. Front & rear suspension rebuild & upgrades plus a 3.54 differential by Denis Welch motorsport in 2009. Tailored interior carpets by JME Healeys in 2012. MKIII clutch upgrade in 2014. Larger triple HS6 carburettors & sports stainless steel exhaust system by Cape international in 2017.

 

Fitted with overdrive, electronic ignition, telescopic front & rear shock absorbers, spotlights, wood rim steering wheel and period style seatbelts. The underside is seam sealed and wax oil protected. The car remains on its original chassis. Recently fitted with brand new chrome 72 spoke wire wheels on Blockley tyres.

 

An excellent driving car with a superb exhaust note. This car is offered for sale with its UK V5C Registration Document, Heritage certificate, drivers handbook, and its document & invoices file. The car is supplied fully serviced and ready to be enjoyed.
